Junior Golf FAQ's

Below you will find a list of commonly asked questions in regards to our Junior Golf Program.

1. I don't golf, can I still volunteer? Top of Page

Yes, most volunteer positions do not require any golf knowledge. Many of the volunteer positions are chaperone roles where the main responsibilities include making sure the group that you are assigned to is in the right place at the right time, along with assisting staff to make sure kids are behaving and acting in a respectful and safe manner.

2. Will my son/daughter be able to golf with friends? Top of Page

We create groups based upon age and gender. We also encourage the golfers to get to know other kids within the program, so we will at times mix up the foursomes when the golfers play the course.

3. Is there a tournament at the end of the season? Top of Page

Moving forward, the focus of our programs will be to offer expert training and as the junior golfers progress they'll have an opportunity to use those learned skills on the course. We will also have fun weekly games for the golfers playing on the course to participate in. 4. My son/daughter is going to miss a day, do I need to let someone know? Top of Page

If your son or daughter is going to miss a week, we encourage you to email us at hazeltinejuniorgolf@gmail.com.

5. I can't make my volunteer day, do I need to let someone know? Top of Page

If you cannot make your assigned volunteer day you must let us know as soon as possible, ideally 24 hours before your assigned date. We will need to make arrangements to have your assignment filled by another volunteer. You can email us at hazeltinejuniorgolf@gmail.com.
